Kristina C. Chang
Chief Executive Officer
Kristina joined Westlake in 2014. After serving as a Principal at Westlake International for two years, Kristina assumed the role of President of Westlake International, Westlake Realty, and Westlake Urban. In 2022, Kristina became the Chief Executive Officer responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operations and investment performance of all three Westlake companies. She brings to Westlake a depth of experience in all aspects of the real estate business, including portfolio management, acquisitions, and property management.
Prior to Westlake, Kristina held various operational positions with several consumer companies including Frends, RAEN Optics, and VNDA. Kristina also served as a senior analyst at Equity One (since acquired by Regency Centers Corp., NYSE: REG) where she worked on acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio management.
Kristina holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and received her bachelor’s degree in History from Harvard College. Kristina is a member of YPO San Diego. In her spare time, Kristina enjoys investing in and supporting early stage companies. She currently serves as a Manager for the Little Joe Fund and continues to invest in early stage companies with Westlake International.
Lino Campanile
President & Chief Financial Officer
Lino joined the team in early 2018 as the Chief Financial Officer for the Westlake Realty Companies, including Westlake Realty, Westlake Urban and Westlake International. In 2023, Lino became the President and Chief Financial Officer of Westlake Realty and Westlake International while continuing as the CFO for Westlake Urban. He oversees the portfolio and asset management of Westlake Realty and Westlake International and financial operations of all the Westlake Realty Companies.
Lino brings with him over twenty years of experience in the real estate industry, with knowledge of multi-family residential, single-family residential, office, retail and mixed use. Most recently before joining Westlake, Lino served as the Chief Financial Officer for Dwell Finance, which was sold to B2R, a unit of Blackstone in 2015. Prior to Dwell Finance, Lino was the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Carmel Partners, a premier full-service real estate company that specializes in acquisition, development, renovation, and management of multi-family assets. His responsibilities included oversight and management of the long and short-term cash flow planning for four active funds in various stages. Before his time at Carmel Partners, Lino was an integral member of the Lennar Corporation’s Bay Area Urban Division. While at Lennar (NYSE:LEN), he managed the financial performance of a diverse Bay Area portfolio, including some of the region’s largest master planned and mixed-use communities. Prior to Lennar, Lino began his career at Arthur Andersen, where he served several clients in the real estate industry. Lino graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from San Francisco State University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive).
Kelly Chang Levine
President, Westlake Urban
As President of Westlake Urban, Kelly leads development and re-positioning efforts for the Westlake properties. She works with the Construction Management team in managing the daily operations of all development projects, and acts as a bridge between the Development team and all other departments.
Prior to joining Westlake, Kelly worked in the digital advertising and media industry in New York City. Previously an Account Executive for the advertising technology company, Ogury, she was responsible for managing her own book of business and working with a variety of top brands across multiple verticals to accomplish their advertising and marketing goals. Prior to Ogury, Kelly worked for Digital Trends, a technology news and reviews site, and at MEC buying and planning digital media campaigns and major digital sponsorships for AT&T Wireless.
Kelly earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian Studies from Harvard College.
William H.C. Chang
Chairman
As Chairman, Mr. Chang is responsible for the direction of the company. He started his real estate career in property management, starting as a janitor, then maintenance man and then onto management.
He then went on to start Government Community Advocates (“GCA”) specializing in real estate development entitlement work, representing many of the largest real estate developers in California, such as Shorenstein Companies and TMG Partners.
After learning the real estate development business at GCA, Mr. Chang re-joined Westlake to help grow the family’s real estate development business. A sampling of his projects include the following: 909 Montgomery Office Building (office building in San Francisco, California), Wine Country House (retirement center in Sonoma, California), Gold Country House (retirement center in Vallejo, California), and Leisure Gardens (retirement center in Vacaville, California).
Mr. Chang has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Harvard College, Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is also a member of YPO Gold, Northern California.
Stew Cedarleaf
Director of Acquisitions
Stew joined the team in 2024 as Director of Acquisitions, leading the company’s acquisition efforts and working with the team to execute multifamily ground up development projects.
Prior to Westlake, Stew served as a Managing Director at Gemdale USA where he led the company’s acquisition and disposition activity across Northern California and played a key role in capital markets, leasing, and overall investment strategy. While at Gemdale his team delivered nearly 500 apartment units. Prior to joining Gemdale USA, Stew had his own consulting and investing business where he focused on industrial outdoor storage and multifamily land acquisitions, development, and financial analysis for clients and investors. Mr. Cedarleaf brings 20 years of real estate experience to the team, having held positions at Prologis Inc., FivePoint Holdings, Poly Global, and the real estate advisory practice at EY. He has been directly involved in over $10 billion of transactions, ranging from small single asset investments to entity-level mergers and acquisitions.
Stew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with dual majors in real estate and finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a licensed real estate salesperson in California.
David Chua
Senior Vice President
David is directly involved in all aspects of company operations including asset management, property management, development and financing.
Before assuming his current position, David oversaw the investment performance of Westlake’s United States commercial portfolio, consisting of 1.5 million square feet of office, retail, and industrial properties. His responsibilities included development and implementation of strategic plans, capital and operational budgets, leasing strategies, lease negotiations, marketing plans, as well as the management of property management personnel. He has been with the company since 2008.
Prior to Westlake, David worked for Apex Capital, Inc. in San Francisco, where he was involved in managing the company’s commercial real estate portfolio in a similar capacity. Earlier in his career, David held positions within various Bank of America real estate divisions, including Special Assets/Other Real Estate Owned, Corporate Real Estate, Corporate Real Estate Ventures, and Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS). In 1999, he was part of the team that successfully completed Bank of America’s first-ever CMBS offering of over $330 million in securitized conduit loans.
David obtained a B.A. in Economics from Williams College and an M.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) San Francisco and holds a California real estate broker license. Cal BRE #01268782.
Billy Keller
Senior Development Manager, Westlake Urban
As a Senior Development Manager, Billy helps to drive the overall growth of Westlake Urban’s development platform. Leveraging a robust background in construction and project management, he works closely with both the general contractor and design teams, along with the host of vendors and subcontractors associated with each project, driving the day-to-day progress of all development and repositioning projects.
Billy brings with him seventeen years of experience in construction management through his time at Pankow Builders. During his tenure with the general contractor, Pankow, he worked in project management across various projects throughout Southern California, Hawaii, and the Bay Area.
Billy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering and Management from Purdue University.
Richard re-joined the Westlake Team in December of 2019 after previously working for Westlake for 9 years. He serves as the Controller for the Westlake companies and brings with him over fifteen years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to re-joining Westlake, Richard worked for a mix of both private and public companies including Prometheus Real Estate Group, a family owned real estate investor and developer, Essex Property Trust (NYSE:ESS), a publicly traded REIT and First Republic Bank (NYSE:FRC), a publicly traded bank where he was involved on both the lessor, lessee and property/corporate accounting functions.
Richard obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analysis and Marketing with a minor in Computer Information Systems from San Francisco State University, and is a Certified Management Accountant (inactive)
Olga Annuzzi
Director of Property Management
Olga Annuzzi is the Director of Property Management overseeing more than 1 million square feet of commercial retail, office, industrial and R&D in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Prior to joining Westlake, Olga managed a portfolio of 1 MM+ square feet of office, industrial, and multi-family properties in the Bay Area and Arizona as an Asset Manager for G.W. Williams Co. Previously, Olga was the Property Manager of a 2MM+ square foot portfolio for Kimco Realty Corporation, which coincidentally included Westlake Shopping Center in Daly City which was Westlake Realty Group’s first retail acquisition at its founding in 1972. She brings 28 years of real estate experience with a deep knowledge of commercial property management.
Olga holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Tourism and is a licensed California salesperson. She also holds a CPM designation from IREM. DRE License #01365319.
Betty Shon
Senior Real Estate Services Manager
Betty joined Westlake Realty Group in May of 2017, and provides real estate management services for several of Westlake’s Class A office buildings in the Bay Area. She is responsible for property operations including all operational issues, tenant relations, maintenance staff, budgeting and reporting.
Before Westlake, Betty was the Director of Development at SteppingStone Adult Day Health for 3 years. Prior to that, she served as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Institutional Advancement at the Chinese American International School for 25 years. She was a key member of the team that built the International Schools Campus at 150 Oak Street, which currently houses the French American International School and the Chinese American International School.
Betty holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and an MBA (real estate finance) from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. She is a licensed California real estate salesperson. DRE #02041630
Brandon Rowell
Senior Analyst
Brandon joined Westlake as a Financial Analyst in December 2022. He works with the Westlake Realty and Westlake Urban teams supporting acquisitions, dispositions, operations, development, and leasing.
Prior to Westlake, Brandon was an Analyst at Raise Commercial Real Estate, a venture-backed real estate services firm, and interned with PwC’s Capital Markets Advisory practice in San Francisco. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Berkeley.
Danielle Hake
Financial Operations Analyst
Dani joined Westlake as a Financial Operations Analyst in January 2024, and focuses on asset management, financial reporting, operations, and leasing.
Prior to Westlake, Dani served as a project management consultant for Cowley Real Estate Partners, a Los Angeles-based real estate development manager. Before this, she worked with the investor relations team at Carmel Partners, a top real estate investment management firm that specializes in the investment, development, and construction of multifamily real estate, to support the fundraise of a $1.6 billion fund. Prior to Carmel, Dani worked for Pantera Capital, the first cryptocurrency fund in the United States, where she was responsible for increasing the efficiency of the investor relations and investment teams.
Dani holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and is a licensed California real estate salesperson (DRE #02241722).
